Mixed Starter Pack

The PJ Lingo Mixed Starter Pack contains a selection of all three of our beginner ESOL literacy readers, providing learners with a range of engaging, real-life stories that support the development of reading confidence, vocabulary and basic literacy skills.

Designed for pre-entry and beginner adult ESOL learners, the readers use short sentences, repetition and supportive illustrations to make reading accessible and enjoyable. The books are particularly suitable for learners who are developing literacy alongside English or who are becoming familiar with the Latin alphabet.

The Mixed Starter Pack is ideal for organisations looking to build a small ESOL reading library or provide learners with a variety of reading materials covering different everyday situations. The readers can be used in community ESOL classes, volunteer-led learning, one-to-one support sessions, libraries and refugee support organisations.
